Data controller

Joe Callin operates this site. For any questions or requests related to your data, contact joe@jcallin.dev.

What is collected

The contact form collects your name, email address, and message. No other personal data is collected.

The light/dark theme preference you set is saved in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is never transmitted to any server.

How it is used

Your name, email, and message are used only to read and respond to your inquiry. This data is not used for marketing, not shared with third parties for any other purpose, and not sold.

Legal basis

Processing is based on legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). You initiated the contact request and it is necessary to process your information to respond.

Who handles the data

Contact form submissions are delivered via a transactional email service (Resend), which processes your data only to transmit the message. This site is hosted on Vercel, which processes request data such as IP addresses and request logs as a standard function of serving web traffic. Both act as data processors under appropriate data processing agreements.

Retention

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to handle your inquiry. If you request deletion, the message will be removed.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict processing of, or receive a portable copy of your data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email joe@jcallin.dev.

Cookies

This site does not use tracking or analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is required.
